We are providing a series of free seminars to explain the true effect of existing and proposed tax limitations. These work together with assessment practices and results to guarantee that local government continually receives less (after inflation) revenues year after year. Learn how the various elements work to limit each other: the Hancock Amendment, limiting assessment changes to odd-numbered years, and imperfect assessment and enforcement. Learn how most legislation being considered will further restrict government tax revenues.. Learn what key events will occur this summer and fall that will determine to course of the 2009 reassessment. Learn what practical options for improvement exist for short-term consideration. This is also an opportunity to share with us your own primary concerns.

These presentations will be informative, enlightening, and immediately useful. They are designed for:

  • City Managers
  • Council and Board Members
