Public Finance Initiative: Missouri Corporate Income Tax

Missouri’s corporate income tax is imposed at a rate of 6.25%. Fiscal year 2005 Missouri corporate income tax collections make up 1.37% of the state’s total tax collections and the burden (percent of personal income paid in taxes) on Missouri taxpayers ranks 46th of 48 states (two states do not impose a corporate income tax).
