PPRC faculty collaboration:

Research Partnerships

 

 

PPRC works with faculty across all university disciplines. In some cases, PPRC acts as the external evaluator on sponsored research projects for which the faculty member is a principal investigator. In other projects, faculty members act as consultants to PPRC and provide expertise to PPRC's research. Current faculty research partnerships include:

Victor Battistich,
Associate Professor of Educational Psychology, Research and Evaluation in the College of Education
Research Project: SLATE Transitions evaluation

Andrew Glassberg,
Associate Professor of Political Science and Public Policy Administration, Department of Political Science
Research Project: Increasing Low-income and Minority Homeownership (funded by the PPRC Faculty Fellows Program)

Andrew Hurley,
Professor and Department Chairperson, Department of History
Research Project: Community Analysis of the Scott Joplin House and Surrounding area (funded by the Missouri Department of Natural Resources)

Nancy Kinney,
Associate Professor of Political Science and Public Policy Administration, Department of Political Science
Research Projects: Increasing Low-income and Minority Homeownership (funded by the PPRC Faculty Fellows Program); regional strategic planning research on nonprofit religious organizations

William Rogers,
Assistant Professor of Economics, Department of Economics
Research Project: Increasing Low-income and Minority Homeownership (funded by the PPRC Faculty Fellows Program)

Patricia Simmons,
Professor of Education in the Department of Teaching and Learning, and Endowed Professor and Adjunct Professor of Biology Elementary Science.
Research Project: CISTL collaboration research and GEAR-UP evaluation

Lana Stein,
Professor of Political Science and Public Policy Administration, Department of Political Science Public Policy Administration
Research Project: Increasing Low-income and Minority Homeownership (funded by the PPRC Faculty Fellows Program)

Kathleen Sullivan Brown,
Assistant Professor of Educational Leadership and Policy Studies in the College of Education
Research Project: William T. Grant Foundation proposal for evaluation of UrbanFUTURE. PPRC Director Mark Tranel will be primary investigator. In addition, Kinney has submitted a proposal, along with Mark Tranel, to present at the Urban Affairs Association in April, 2008.
